The Beginning Over Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that families affected by domestic violence and homicide receive the financial support they need to rebuild their lives after injury or homicide. Our Hold Me Don't Hurt Me Collection was designed to send a subtle message of hope and to raise awareness for domestic violence and homicide. It is our vision to be able to provide financial assistance to the thousands of families each year who lose a loved one to domestic violence and to help the caregivers who are now raising the children affected. OUR VISION:Our Healing Retreat will be designed to be a wonderful place where families, children and teenagers gather to work through the grieving process after the loss of a loved one to domestic violence. The retreat will gently guide the children and teenagers through the complex emotions by showing them that they are not alone.Fun will be the top priority at our Healing Retreats. The children and teenagers will learn that it is okay to laugh and play and that to do so is not disrespectful to the memory of their loved one. Through playing, sharing, and being together with peers and staff who know the pain of losing a loved one to domestic violence, the children and teenagers will realize that the emotions they are feeling are a normal part of grief. What is happening to them happens to others who are affected, at our Healing Retreats, their pain is understood and shared.We hope you will support us by purchasing one of our products. We need your help to spread the word. Whether you are a victim of Domestic violence, a friend of someone who is a victim or have no link to domestic violence, we want to raise awareness across the globe and make our purple ribbon recognizable to all as a symbol of hope.
