Learn the Basics™Program:
The goal of the Learn The Basics Program is to encourage young women & young men to “Learn The Basics” about teen dating violence and equality in relationships in our crusade against adult domestic violence.
Learn The Basics was conceived in 2012 in the state of Pennsylvania by the Beginning Over Foundation in collaboration with a grant from the Verizon Foundation.
Learn The Basics is a program of the Beginning Over Foundation dedicated to mobilizing schools, athletic associations, boy scouts, girl scouts, and any other civic group interested in the fight against domestic violence across the United States.
Learn The Basics builds awareness of teen dating abuse and educates boys & girls
aged 12 through 24 to increase their understanding of teen dating abuse.
Learn The Basics program believes that when educating girls & boys on teen
dating abuse, we must first provide a comfortable setting where students
can engage together on the issue.
