LEARN THE BASICS  was conceived in 2012 in the state of Pennsylvania by the Beginning Over Foundation in collaboration with a grant from the Verizon Foundation.

LEARN THE BASICS is a program of the Beginning Over Foundation dedicated to mobilizing schools, athletic associations, boy scouts and any other civic group interested in the fight against domestic violence across the United States.

LEARN THE BASICS build awareness of teen dating abuse and educates boys grades 5 through 12 to increase their understanding of teen dating abuse.

LEARN THE BASICS program believes that  when educating boys on teen dating abuse we must first provide a comfortable setting where male students can engage together on the issue separate from female students.
