Empowering survivors of domestic abuse is our "MANE" purpose and mission.

Purple Salon and Spa is the creation of Heidi Markow and Ashley Stecker. This inspirational Mother-Daughter Team utilizes their skills to give back to the community! For Heidi, who developed the Beginning Over Foundation in 2005 and a graduate of the Lansdale School Of Cosmetology, Purple Salon expands her mission to honor her beloved sister, who lost her life at the hands of an abusive husband, as well as help other women in crisis working hard to effect change and rebuild their lives after devastation. Purple Salon and Spa offers complementary hair services and makeovers to individuals touched by domestic abuse.  In addition, Heidi and Ashley offer free services to abused women before court appearances, as they know how important it is to look and feel your best while facing the most difficult times. Ashley Stecker, Co-Owner and Design Specialist, graduated in 2005 from Wilson Area High School and earned her Cosmetology degree from The Career Institute of Technology in Forks Township. Ashley also trained at the Redken Exchange Academy on 5th Avenue in New York City. Heidi and Ashley have the wonderful gift of making a person look good and feel great! Purple Salon and Spa offers hair, makeup, waxing, pedicure and manicure services.

In addition, Purple Salon and Spa gives you, as their client, the opportunity to give back to the community as well as getting the best haircut and color!  Heidi and Ashley will  choose a charity of choice for each month to recieve 5% of  their proceeds from their regular clientele base. Each month, Purple Salon will choose a different non-profit organization to honor. If you or someone you know works with or has been helped by an organization with 501(c)3 non-profit status and would like that non-profit to have a chance to receive 5% of Purple Salon’s proceeds during an upcoming month, please send Heidi and Ashley an email telling them why your organization is an asset to our community. Purple Salon and Spa looks forward to hearing from you! Together, we will color our community with love by giving back to those who are in need.
